I've had multiple names throughout my life. My very first name combined the name of a Great Doubter, and the name of my father (although it was spelled differently from his). This name yielded its own diminutions: ****** ******** became ***, ***** ***, *****, ****** ** ******. Following this originary nominal configuration came a period of experimentation. Thalia; Thea; T. Lastly, I came to Tuesday. Ironically, I was born on a Monday. But I like to consider that first period of my life marked and marred by its nominal obscuria as that Monday, as that first day. Now, I'm in the second day, or the day after.
